June Tidings from the Palmetto Bluff Club

   JUNE 2017

Good Morning Palmetto Bluff Club Members,

It might still be a few weeks until summer officially begins, but the fun of the season has certainly begun at the Bluff. It was a fantastic Memorial Day weekend here – from the dive-in movie to Grace cruises, time on the Slip n’ Slide to the Oyster Roast, it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces as family and friends enjoyed time together. The 4th of July holiday is right around the corner, and we look forward to traditional holiday favorites like the Cart & Bike Parade, some new additions like the 4th of July Fish Fry, and of course, a night to remember with the Blues Brothers. Please click here to view all our 4th of the July holiday events.

Earlier this week I sent out an important Club update to all Palmetto Bluff members regarding revisions to the Palmetto Bluff Club plan. As mentioned in my letter, these updates have allowed us to create a more modern, forward-thinking plan, which reemphasizes the value of the Palmetto Bluff Club and ensures a sound operating plan for the Club. This plan will be effective as of June 19, 2017, and no action is required by members. The updated documents are available for members on the Club Documents page of the member website. I would love to answer any questions from members regarding this update. I will be hosting two Q&A sessions this Saturday and a third via conference call on Monday. The schedule of meetings is below. Additionally I hope you will join me for Coffee with the GM on Saturday, June 10. We will be hosting the meeting at Cole’s at 9 a.m.

Club Plan Q&A Meetings:

  • Saturday, June 3 @ 9 a.m. at the Lodge
  • Saturday, June 3 @ 3 p.m. at the Lodge
  • Monday, June 5 @ 5 p.m. - Please dial +1.404.400.8750 and enter the Access Code 452-774-821#.

We have recently received a few comments and questions from members regarding dress code at Club restaurants. The attire guidelines are posted on the member website. Please click here to view. We ask you to review and follow these guidelines and share them with your family members and guests while they are visiting us on property.

As always, please contact our team with your questions and suggestions.

Thank you for your continued support of our beautiful community.

Kind regards,

Gray Ferguson

As you may have heard at the most recent property owner update, we are making some changes in the Post Office and old Conservancy space. By the end of the June members will be able to pick up packages in the Wilson Village Post Office, along with mailbox keys and car decals. The Club team will continue to be based out of the Post Office building, moving back into the former Conservancy space.
