Hurricane Irma Update - 9/12/17
Palmetto Bluff
Good afternoon,

Our leadership team and contractors returned to property at 8 a.m. this morning to focus on the clean-up of the community. Our goal today has been clearing large downed trees and assessing the safety of all bridges and docks. Tomorrow, our crews will focus on cleaning up the common areas, trails, and cart paths, with the goal to complete these projects by Friday. Please be mindful of crews working on the clean-up and observe a safe distance.

The Wilson town dock (located behind the Chapel) did suffer some damage -- not from the storm surge, but from a fallen tree, and it will be closed until it is repaired and inspected.

Many, if not all, of our associates evacuated and are making their way back home today and tomorrow. As such, RT's Market will re-open Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Buffalo's will re-open on Thursday at 12 p.m. for lunch and dinner. Our goal is to re-open the resort on Friday, excluding the Moreland Village operations.

Our construction gate has reopened so if your contractor needs to come to your home, they can do so. Should you need assistance, we are happy to provide a list of vetted contractors.

Overall, we are very thankful that Palmetto Bluff fared extremely well and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.

Kind regards,
The Palmetto Bluff Team
